Getting THERE Without Drama

We’ve put together a handy little guide to help you plan your trip with as little stress and as much fun as possible. Whether you’re turning this into a full Portuguese getaway or just need a smooth route to the celebrations, we’ve got you covered.

Think of this as your excuse to explore a bit more because if you’re coming all this way, you might as well enjoy the beaches, food, and cities nearby. Below you’ll find some of our favourite spots for eating, staying, exploring, and getting around.

Where to stay (a.k.a. recover in style)

Our venue is tucked away in the vineyards just outside Palmela, which means you'll be celebrating surrounded by beautiful scenery (but unfortunately, not hotel rooms!).

The good news? There are plenty of lovely places to stay nearby. We recommend staying in Palmela or Setúbal if you'd like the quickest journey to and from the venue, both are just a short car or taxi ride away.

Fancy turning the wedding into a Portuguese getaway? Lisbon is a fantastic base, with plenty of accommodation, restaurants, and things to see. It's around 45–60 minutes from the venue by car, or you can take a train or bus to Setúbal before grabbing a quick car or taxi for the final leg.
